Block Print

In this project, we received a board that we carved using special tools. We were allowed to make any design, trace it on to the board, and then carve it out. After we finished the carving, we used the design to stamp and create a collage. For my design, I did the Eiffel Tower because I have always wanted to travel to Paris. It turned out really good and love the design. This was definitely my favorite project so far! :)

Book Pages

For this project, we started with book pages from a used novel. We tore them out and read through what was on the page. From there, we had to take words from the page in the novel, circle them, and create a new story using these words. We would then paint what the new story read as. This was one of my favorite projects so far because it took so much creativity and no two painting would look the same because of the different words from the pages in the novels. I think this project really helped with my creativity and made my brain work to finish this project. :)
